Time for your car's scheduled tune-up? Whether your vehicle's odometer reads 7,000 miles or 107,000 miles, we're here to ensure that everything runs smoothly. Don't skip your scheduled maintenance! Prevent costly repairs by bringing your car or truck into Robertson Automotive now!
This scheduled maintenance should include oil and filter change and inspection of transmission fluid, coolant, power steering, and windshield wiper fluid. You should also have your tires and lights checked for proper function.
Replace your air filter and check your battery at this point. It may also be time to replace the fuel filter and power steering fluid. Your mechanic may suggest that it's time to inspect brake pads, suspension, radiator hoses and the HVAC system. Remember that keeping on top of maintenance can save you a substantial amount of money in the future.
It's now time to replace the battery (if needed) and replace spark plugs. Make sure to request that your ignition system and suspension are checked, as well. Robertson Automotive mechanics will know exactly what you need, but it doesn't hurt to have a little background knowledge yourself so that you know what to expect.
Every 60,000 miles, you should have your HVAC inspected in addition to your suspension and tires. It's good to know if these need work before they cause any trouble to your vehicle. Also replace brake pads and brake fluid and have all other fluids checked and replaced, if necessary.
